LES MIGRATEURS Hosts Solo Exhibition

The exhibition, which will run through December 2002, features new work by contemporary artist Mollie McNealy.  Ms. McNealy's works included in the exhibit cover multiple conceptual ideas she has pursued in various series including “City Life,” “Lifelines,” “Passage," and "Rebirth."

A graduate of Pratt Institute with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting, Ms. McNealy's diverse artistic training extends into the realms of visual design, photography and ceramics.  She has stated of her work, "My paintings are variations of colorscapes. They take on their own meaning of emotional states of life."  A member of the Womens Art Group, the Artists League, and the West Side Arts Coalition, her paintings have been exhibited in New York at MALO for Madison Avenue: Where Fashion Meets Art, 2001, AIR Gallery February 2000 show A Survey of Women Artists at the Millennium, as well as other venues around the city.  Her work is also held in numerous private collections.  Ms. McNealy lives and works in New York.
